London Cityscapes and Landscapes
My day job takes me London regularly. I only have a few hours in the evening to explore the city, so, jet-lagged and exhausted, I head out to see the sights. Somewhere along the way I discovered the charms of London pubs--what you see here is what I saw between them.

Living statues are fairly common along the Thames, but this guy was particularly good. He only broke his pose when no one else was looking, and motioned me to take a picture. My camera was all set for HDR landscapes and I had no idea the shot would come out this well.
Didgeridoo Player
Busking is big in the London tubes and passages. Here's a completely international act: an Italian in London playing an Australian instrument. He was pretty good, too. . .not that I'm an expert on didgeridoo music. But I liked it. Gave him a crown, or a guinea, or tuppence or something. I don't know those coins.
